Martha has over twenty years experience working with numerous fortune 500 companies designing, implementing, and tuning large-scale operational and business intelligence systems on a variety of database platforms to include Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Focus, and Teradata
Martha offers the capability of being precise while not missing the bigger business picture as evidenced by her wide ranging experience across the full lifecycle of software development from project management, requirements analysis and design, to programming, to quality assurance and testing to performance tuning. Martha has consistently produced quality, re-usable systems through the use of rigorous software development and improvement methodologies (Unified Process, RUP, Oracle Unified Method, Agile, RAD, CMMI) and modeling standards (UML, Use Cases, IDEF1X, IDEF0X, Oracles CASE method, Ernst and Youngs Navigator, James Martins Information Engineering).
Utilizing her communication skills, Martha has trained and mentored IT professionals in the use of advanced Oracle technology and has authored a number of courses in the Oracle curriculum which cover SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling, UML, database administration, performance tuning, data warehousing, and business intelligence OLAP reporting.
