Business Architecture Guild
The Business Architecture Guild is a community of business architects who have come together to build and expand their profession. The Guild is an international, diverse community of business architecture practitioners, beneficiaries and interested parties. We are a collaborative collective where individuals can learn with and from their peers, explore and develop new ideas, and further the practice and discipline of business architecture.
Many great educational pieces are available to the public from the Public Resources tab. But the most valuable, stimulating and collaborative material is only available to members. And this material is offered free to you with your membership. So join us and get started.
A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge™ (BIZBOK® Guide) is the primary resource for our profession. The Guild builds out new and existing content for the Guide through an agile, collaborative process. In fact, there are over 100 authors of the most recent edition. Generally, two editions are produced each year. We offer a downloadable, printable, password protected PDF to our membership. We ask member practitioners to provide feedback on each release.
Object Management Group

Founded in 1989, OMG standards are driven by vendors, end-users, academic institutions and government agencies. OMG Task Forces develop enterprise integration standards for a wide range of technologies and an even wider range of industries. OMG’s modeling standards, including the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA), enable powerful visual design, execution and maintenance of software and other processes.
The OMG also hosts organizations such as the user-driven information-sharing Cloud Standards Customer Council (CSCC) and the IT industry software quality standardization group, the Consortium for IT Software Quality (CISQ).
Our members include hundreds of organizations including software end-users in over two dozen vertical markets (from finance to healthcare and automotive to insurance) and virtually every large organization in the technology industry. OMG’s one organization- one vote policy ensures that every member organization- whether large or small- has an effective voice in our voting process.
